Michael Jackson Auction
The Michael Jackson auction took place over two sessions at a Beverly Hills auction house. The furniture and accessories that decorated the last home of Michael Jackson realized more than $1 million dollars in sales from an extremely large group of collectors. There were more than 500 items gathered from the rented home that he died in while under the care of the now notorious Dr. C. Murray.
The Michael Jackson auction sold his last bedroom suite of furniture sold for more than $25,000. The large chest for that suite had a hand-written message [supposedly written by Michael, himself] that was a motivational method for him, personally. Clocks, ceramics, and furniture all sold for much more than was anticipated even though they had little sentimental value being part of the rented surroundings.
It would appear that specific pieces had serious emotional value as they were removed from the Michael Jackson auction upon the request of his family.
All in all, as a personal note, the Michael Jackson auction had little warmth or reality to it. It is so unfortunate that a person of his magnitude had to leave this earth in such cold and calculated surroundings.
